Non Shedding Dogs
For people with pet allergies or asthma, non-shedding
dogs are a fantastic way to enjoy the companionship such
animals offer without the obvious dander drawbacks.
Labradoodles are a relatively new breed from Australia,
a combination of standard poodles and Labrador
retrievers. Not only does this breed offer the
intelligence and friendliness found in Labradors but
they are non-shedding dogs, just like poodles.
Labradoodles--the Ultimate Non-Shedding Dogs
During the 1970s, an Australian man named Wally Cochran
initially developed the breed that was then perfected
following numerous years of research. At Washington
Labradoodles, we understand that one of the major
appeals of this breed is the fact that they are
non-shedding dogs. To this end, we have purchased our
breeding stock from Tegan Park and offer only
multi-generational Labradoodles.
Not only are Labradoodles non-shedding dogs, but
their coat is extremely easy to maintain. It typically
only needs to be clipped a few times a year and brushed
once a month. Additionally, another advantage of these
dogs is that they have little to no body odor.
Although Labradoodles may appear similar, those that
are multi-generational consistently offer the desired
genetic qualities. First generation dogs do not offer
the multi-generational temperament or coat quality. Our
breeding stock from Tegan Park assures you of a
multi-generational dog with all the advantages of the
breed.
